Walking my dogs earlier, a couple stopped us - several years ago, he used to work here in the ski resort and he recognised me from the dogs. He stopped about ten feet away and said, "I'd love to say hi to them, but I can see you're training and have them nice and calm at the moment and I don't want to get them excited".

How understanding; it gave me the warm and fuzzies!!
