Good compromise - I will organise to visit my son in Bristol.

Hurrah! We may well organise to spend a night in the Brizzle area anyway - there's a lovely little place called the Dog Inn in Old Sodbury that we've used as a base before. It's just down the road from old friends of mine, and really close to the Beanwood gang, too

The SW pack will plan something suitable.

Ginny can't manage route marches, but an hour's gentle amble is well within her capabilities.

Absolutely. It's pretty much the same distance.

No, I don't. It was a one-off (well, once there, once back) and it was horrific. Never again. I just need to find somewhere decent to stop over on the way because my perfect distance place (around Vierzon) is a bit of a dive

I hoping to come soon we've just got a lot of family issues at the moment, so it's difficult to find any time for holidays . I loved our last visit to scotland just sorry we missed you .
