Upgrades and potential disruption

Hello everyone!

I'm going to be running some upgrades to hopefully add a new little feature. I'm going to try to get this done this evening and/or tomorrow morning. It may mean that there is a little disruption on the forum, but I'm hoping it will be kept to a minimum.

I'll leave it an hour or so before starting, just so people have the chance to see this message. I'll also mention it on the FB page.

Hey all, I've completed the basic upgrade. It looks a teeny bit different now, but hopefully nothing too shocking! Now, to see if I can work out our new sparkly feature...

I must be thick but I can’t see any difference. But then I just cycle through ‘what’s new’ constantly. What is the new sparkly feature? I can’t get the emojis to work just says ‘loading’.

There's nothing dramatic in the layout changes. Avatars are now round, the header bar of the posting box is a bit different, and emojis are laid out differently. But if they're not loading for you, it may be that you need to clear your cache.

The new feature is the Calendar (explained in a couple of new posts - https://mylabradorfriends.com/threads/at-home-with-my-labrador-friends.3319/), so you should be able to see that in the menu bar, here:

Yep. I think it's more obvious now, though. Whether that's a good thing or not, I'll leave up to you
