What made you smile today?

That sounds very, very painful, did you leg go into spasm? I do hope it is so much better and won't happen again?
I have a growth on my spine which occasionally fills with blood and presses on the nerves. It makes my leg go dead and hurts a lot, last time it happened I was in hospital for 4 days and nearly had to have an op.needless to say I have no intention of going near a hospital at the moment.

It got to 17c here today. At first I thought " Oh no, it;s going to be a horribly hot summer" ( I'm a cold weather person) but as I looked at other people enjoying the sun I was just so happy to see the smiles and laughter on their faces as they kept apart but still enjoyed themselves.
Our average maximum temperature in WINTER is 17 :giggl: . It does drop much lower in the mornings and evenings though. I don't like cold weather at all

Alex and Toby made me smile today. They are forming a tight bond. This made me smile because when one barked the other came running. The first time this has happened. Toby is growing in confidence all the time but sometimes need a little back up. I have been that until now but Alex has taken over and runs to see what if he is ok. I love that!

Trying to work (dining room table) while OH decided to do a mini workout in the lounge room. He had his headphones in so the room was silent. Except for his breathing. Sounded like some bloody sex scene going on.

This resulted in hysterics from me, then OH when I managed to explain. Then Nathan came in the room, had no idea what we were laughing about but joined in anyway. Which made us laugh even more.

OH completed his workout in the backyard.

As a kickboxer, I can tell you that a good kiai (the shout you sometimes hear during an attack) does wonders for focussing your energy and power. People choose their own shout: mine was always a bit of a “eeyah” noise, but someone I trained with had a noise which was like “aaaah..soh!” which often cracked me up because it sounded like “asshole” :cwl:

I know that the same would apply when lifting weights; it would help add a bit of power to a lift. I never used it, though, even though I almost always had the gym to myself.
