Bear's Puppy Log

A quick harness session this morning. Clicking and treating when he touched it, I moved it closer to his head and he was fine, carried on treating and had a go at popping it over his head - no issues at all. Hope I haven't moved too quickly with this, but it didn't seem to be an issue for him. Had a little play for a couple of minutes, still treating, and then took it off him.
Thank you to lovely @SwampDonkey who sent me this harness - isn't it a lovely colour!
Sorry, not great photos as he doesn't stand still ! View attachment 15623View attachment 15624View attachment 15625
My first thought was bare toes! , he must be a good boy (or you’re very brave) .

There’s no race. Just enjoy your puppy!
oh, I know, it's just they all sound so perfect, it's probably a facebook thing.(though one pup did chew through an ethernet cable today  )

Bear/Monty management is becoming a bit stressful, I will post tomorrow to ask you all for some advice I think - it's not bad but becoming a bit wearing that they are both 'on' all the time but Monty can't bear (ha) to be separated. Off to bed early now after chucking Scrappy-Doo in his cage.

This, too, shall pass! Every dynamic is different. Very few are easy. Remember my lot wanting to kill the puppy?
Do what needs to be done with management ... and, hell, bribery and alcohol (for you 😂)! ... in the early days, and things will work out in the wash.
