What made you smile today?

Oh he is such a beautiful bunny  @Sophiedoodle. My daughter has four, two of them live in the house!
He is amazing ❤ You don’t realise how much character a rabbit has until you own one... I’ve had 3 and they have all been completely different. Gus is so feisty and cheeky and hilarious, I love him so much! Here he is trying to jump back off his hutch before I could take a picture :giggl: FB513B22-A19D-4369-B177-9FB95D348DEE.jpeg

Annie and I had a lovely girls hour today. Annie has itchy legs this time of the year, so they are washed in Malaseb. I said do you want a shower Annie, she goes and stands by the shower room door. She is very good and waits until I open the shower door and gets in. After singing three times, I'm going to wash that dog right out of my fur, otherwise known as, I'm going to wash that man right out of my hair, she shakes and gets out of the shower. Waiting in the other room is my OH with a big towel and dries her to the tune, I'm a lumberjill and I'm okay. Wrapped in her towelling robe she takes up her place of the sofa, leaving me to have my shower. Thankfully my OH leave me to sort myself out in peace.:giggl:

Cassie made me laugh out loud this morning

I've always asked her to sit when a vehicle of any sort is near us when we are out walking and wait to be released once it's gone by. Once or twice I've thought she's pre-empted me on this, and sat before I've asked her to. This morning she glanced over shoulder, saw that a car was approaching and promptly sat herself down unbidden.

Only trouble was - she was right in the middle of the lane -. Luckily the driver of the car found it as hilarious as I did!

But now I know, she does sit of her own accord :)

Joy often does this on the towpath with bikes now, also right in the middle! I just think 'Oh, but she means well!):cwl:

So this might say a lot more about me than anything else, but when I first saw the emoji on FB, and you can't zoom in to see it close up, and knew nothing about there being a new 'care' one, I didn't see a heart at all but blood dripping from their mouth/face. Do I have issues, maybe? Now of course, I only see a heart. 😂

Had to smile at Reuben just now , we weighed out what should be his daily allowance of food as Paul was convinced I wasnt giving him enough per day . I then tipped it into his bowl to judge the two meals ( spot on by the way ) as he is such a skinny minnie . The lad was asleep, but upon hearing food being tipped into his bowl he was there like a flash , so what meal do you think this is then lad ??

Squidge has a warthog toy. We call it Pumbaa (although it's not). She picked it out for herself (ie stole it) at the vet's office when she was spayed. Two years on, and Pumbaa is now just a horrific shell, so I decided to get her a new one for her birthday. It didn't arrive in time, but we picked it up from the PO yesterday and we gave her the Amazon box for her to open. Aaaah, she was so waggy and excited to find her new Pumbaa! I wish I had filmed it. New Pumbaa is now going everywhere with her :)

I wouldn't dare go near the food bin except for their meal times. We've just got back from a quick walk and both dogs stood by the fridge after having their getting home treats, expecting me to get my lunch (and hoping for a bit of cheese/pear/anythingediblefordogs. They were most disappointed when I headed for my desk and told them I wasn't having lunch just yet!
