You have to buy it NOW!👍🤣🤣🤣
Sadly not an option. When I messaged the Etsy lady doing my TARDIS mask to tell her how much I liked the print and why I was such a fan (Dr Who fan in general + my car) she shared a photo of this quilt she'd made for her daughter. She also said she was planning to make a pandemic quilt out of all her family's masks when this is all over. That seems like a really good idea, too

I'm in awe by people who can create things.

And yes, I do tend to end up in long message conversations with the people I buy from on Etsy. 😂

Anyway, the upshot of all this is that I am SO HAPPY that they have moved. I'm not really worried about another dog moving in as there are lots of other dogs nearby and we have never had a problem with any of them. We would have to be quite unlucky to get another aggressive dog I think.
Jess and I have been celebrating since the house went up for sale but I think we will have an extra celebration tonight :cake:
Yay!
:celebrate::tail:

Watching the inauguration has made me surprisingly euphoric. Biden’s speech heartening.
I haven’t seen much of the proceedings, being otherwise engaged for most of the day, but there were some beautiful touches I saw, such as Eugene Goodman (who bravely drew the Capitol mob away from the civilians) being VP Harris’s escort. And the kneeling solider at Beau’s grave during the ceremony 😭
I also loved how Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Kamala Harris all wore purple in a nod to the coming together of red and blue 😍

I love how the new President’s first executive orders included rejoining the Paris agreement and the WHO.

And I love that one of his first requests was that a plaque with the words “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country” be mounted above the door to the Oval Office.

For the first time in a while, I feel a real sense of hope emanating from the US.

This afternoon , we drove a couple of miles to a quiet woodland , we have to access via a narrow downhil lane so we go very slowly as often deer are crossing from one side of the wood to the other . Almost at the pull in , two horses and riders were coming towards us , so we stopped to allow them to pass . As it is so narrow , one passed one side , one the other . I looked in the mirror at Reuben who was sitting up in the very back of the car and as the horses went by , he stared straight ahead in silence , no eye contact, his head never wavering from the forward position , he did make me smile x

He is wary of horses , not in an aggressive way , just wary . We come upon them from time to time on our walks , he is fine but wont look at them :rofl:
That's quite sensible given how big they are. I guess he doesn't want to start anything and would prefer to mind his own business.

I'm sure my oaf would rush right up to the "lovely big doggies" if he was given a chance. Ever the optimist.
