Dresses crab..for the "Southerners"...don't know why these have prawns in them - our butcher/fishmonger puts a couple of legs in just for appearance.

What IS this, exactly? I can see crab meat on the edges, but what’s all that stuff in the middle?

I am VERY seafood challenged as I live in the middle of a prairie with the closest ocean over 2000k away so forgive me if this is a dumb question!

That’s crabmeat too - you get white and brown meat in a crab - white from claws and legs, brown from body
