I have ordered her some paw balm which should soothe her paws and help them heal, it should arrive tomorrow. My poor girl isn’t happy

Ooh that looks sore. If a fertilizer is that toxic, I’m surprised it’s allowed to be used??!! If it is fertilizer, I’d be reporting it to the FDA equivalent in the UK.

We are unsure at the moment

Nope! All of the other dogs are fine... so it makes you think it maybe wasn’t fertiliser? I’m just not sure

Poor sore paws! You'd think if it was fertiliser that other dogs would be affected. Or she unluckily stepped on something rather nasty. I hope that it heals up fast.

How odd, they look like abrasions of some sort being on all paws. Flint? Sand?

Had she been doing any Agility? Homer got abrasions on his paws, while doing agility. I never noticed it at the time but came up red and raw. I washed them with hibiscrub regularly and they soon healed. He's never had them since we stopped we stopped Agility.

She is okay, they are looking a lot better but she’s still a little uneasy when walking.

Nope, but she is a little mountain goat constantly jumping up and down and around things

Oh no! It's weird it's on all of her paws. The twins are often getting the odd sore paw because of their ridiculous antics running around and jumping up and down and onto everything, but they've never had all four. Any sort of twisting motion that normally causes this sort of thing is focussed around one or two paws, max. They just don't twist on all four at the same time. That suggests to me that this is either some sort of burn or else damage caused by some particularly sharp surface. They do look super sore, poor girl

Thanks for that info!
She is a lot more comfortable now after lots of sudocrem and no walkies (oh the horror!!). I bought some paw balm to help soothe and heal them so hopefully it’ll work and she’ll be back to her normal, happy self soon

I had to keep Shadow on lead last time he did it - QUELLE HORREUR!! - because he wouldn't stop running round like a dick even though he was really sore. The boy can run 90mph on three paws, with the fourth held out in front like a really bad Superman impression
