I've just had a visit from Keir and his hooman, dropping his bed, food etc. off before he comes to stay tomorrow. They also gave me a pretty bag with some presents in as a Thankyou, including this cushion, now in Joy's bed.

Our new, personalized camping quilt arrived today and looks so nice in our trailer. 
Laughing at the dogs when I cut their nails. Iver makes a fuss because he knows I'm really trying to cut a foot off. Rory sees what I'm doing and pushes Iver out of the way and I pretend to clip his nails and tell him he's so clever give him treats. Iver fumes about this then pushes Rory out of the way to get his nails trimmed. I teased him about making such a fuss cut his nails cuddle him loads. So funny he does love a bit of drama

I lost Cassie's best collar at the weekend, one my daughter got as a present for looking after her horse when she was away a few years back. I took it off Cassie so she could wiggle through a tricky gate, and told myself not to drop it! But of course I did, in a stubble field of straw, I went back twice to search for it to no avail. 
When I was out briefly last night my son and daughter took the dogs back down to the field in question --- and found the collar

Lots to smile about today . Everything takes me such a long time but today I have sat by the wildlife pond and cleared some of the weed . I`ve picked masses of blackberries from the garden before Reuben gets to them and will make apple and blackberry crumbles tomorrow , and also picked a massive bowl of tomatoes . I did lots of washing this morning, bedding back on because I do not iron 
Also mopped my kitchen and bathroom floors , its been a very good day indeed xxx
