Do you remember right at the beginning it was Spencer or Oliver puppy and I didn’t know which until the last minute?

Well, there he was in the reunion - Oliver! (Next to Spencer, second from the left)

Olga was there too - we met up with her a couple of times, as her puppy raiser lived near Manchester. 🐾🙂

What a magical day it was. Terry and I keep messaging each other! I’ve invited him and Dean and Spencer to come and stay once our house is fit, after the build.

Oh thankyou thankyou Mags, I was heartbroken at missing it. You look amazing! I love your accent so much. Terry is lovely and it was so emotional and I had tears (in a good way)

Thank you, Mags, for sharing the snippets. I was so looking forward to seeing the show but I can’t access it here in SA and was SO disappointed. I follow Terry’s fb page and love reading about his adventures with Spencer. But I absolutely LOVED watching this. He is such an endearing and honest person, you can’t help but like him And you were wonderful, too!

Oh my word. Spencer just gets more famous!

:clap::nod:

“Goooooood morning my lovely friends. I hope you are all well.

I am super, Mega excited at the moment and would love to share with you the reason why.

I was nominated by Guide Dogs UK for consideration to be crowned one of 500 Coronation Champions for my work as a Guide Dog Volunteer. Being nominated came as a big surprise to me in itself, as I never see myself as doing anything particularly extraordinary, so to be even considered was a huge accolade.

I put the idea too the back of my mind, and thought nothing more of it, and then a few days ago, I received an email from Royal Voluntary Service congratulating me and announcing that I was chosen from almost 5000 exceptional nominations to be Officially crowned as one of only 500 Coronation Champions.

As if that isnt honour enough, I will receive an official Coronation Champions pin badge, a signed certificate from Their Majesties AND be invited to The Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle on Sunday 7th May, accompanied by my wonderful partner, Dean and of course, my AMAZING Knight in Black Shiny Armour, Guide Dog Spencer.

I am totally overwhelmed by all of this, and to say that I am excited is an understatement. I have always been a keen supporter of the Royal Family, and now to be involved in this historic event is just epic. New memories to be made and to treasure forever

I feel so proud to have been chosen as a Coronation Champion, and to think that anyone would even consider nominating me for this is very humbling.

I have been so very lucky since loosing my sight in 2019 in so many ways and have nothing but admiration, love and respect for Guide Dogs UK and all of the wonderful staff, volunteers and supporters as well as you, my very special friends for the continual love and support that you afford me - Thank You - Your support through the great times as well as your encouragement through the not so good means The World to me

It’s an honour to receive one of the #CoronationChampionsAwards launched by @RoyalVoluntaryService with Her Majesty The Queen Consort.

Looking forward to celebrating with fellow Champions at the Windsor Castle Concert . on Sunday 7th May!

As always, of course, I will be taking you all along with me to enjoy the Windsor Castle Coronation Concert via Guide Dog Team Spencer & Terry with lots of posts, Videos and Photographs, so that you too can celebrate
