Is he settling a bit Kelsey?
So much so! Ever since I had that little meltdown vent session on here 3.5 weeks ago it was like he could sense I was so defeated. He hasn’t chewed my furniture, couch, kitchen cabinets, chairs etc since the day after I vented. So strange! He definitely still chews me but he’s pretty good at being distracted by me popping a toy in his mouth. He then wiggles all over me happily with a toy keeping his mouth busy. He hasn’t drawn blood on me for about 3.5 weeks
His poos are also solid and perfect since switching food, we are still transitioning slowly as I’m worried to trigger an upset. But we are almost there!
He still harasses Gizmo but for the most part I just leave them do their thing. Once Gizmo has had enough he jumps up on the counter and sleeps until he’s ready to tease Hugo again. That being said I can’t wait for the day Gizmo can enter a room without Hugo going full play mode
He will be 4 months old on Saturday, so I know we are entering teething here pretty quick. (I was dumb and very wrong about him teething a few weeks ago. His gums were pink and puffy looking one evening but that was it) So I know the next struggle is upon us, but then it will be done! I was told he shouldn’t chew on his tree root until he loses his baby teeth, that was going to be my saving grace

They are normalHmmm I wonder if they came out prematurely as they are just little red holes ?I don’t remember with Axel but I thought that adult teeth would be visible once baby teeth came out?

Have you got any of the freezable kongs and what-not that are good for teething puppies?
I’ve got two that I’m going to fill and freeze today! Going to just start with some canned pumpkin and mashed up kibble, maybe some carrots in there too… not sure if I can add plain yogurt just yet or peanut butter, I’m worried with his sensitive tummy to add those just yet 🫣
Hugo is 4 months old! (Tomorrow), and he is 15.5kgs. He loves meeting everyone and every dog we come across but hasn’t been able to say hi to all dogs which is good, I don’t want him to think he can say hi to everyone, and he does pretty good at being redirected to keep walking, after he watches them walk away with a ‘why didn’t they want to say hi’ quizzical look
Still doing great with food transition, I’m still going very slow because I am nervous to push it. He’s teething and just wants to chomp on me, but frozen kongs in the making!
He is wanting to jump up on everyone to say hello so that’s a big one I am working on lately!

I remember that with Axel too, puppies must run hot? He loves to give kisses and he melts for belly rubs. I love this boy more than I can express
