I think we’ve found a unicorn!! ❤
Oh sí, sí - that is mucho mejor, much better ! I am a unicorn! A very serious and guapo unicorn!

Where is this magnificent place?!
Ah, that is part of the mystery destination. Pues, it does not need to be a mystery: we are in a place called Sorrento near Naples . The Roman ruins on Friday are Herculaneum , which is quite wonderful as ALL dogs are allowed to visit, not just dogs like me with a special magic vest. Yesterday we went to the Amalfi coast and visited Amalfi and Atrani .

It was a wonderful day - I was so happy to see a beach that I went loco with the zoomies - but my first experience in a bus was tough. ML was a funny shade of green and I kept slip sliding around on every curve even though she was holding onto me .

We are both very sick of public transportation, so today we are using only feet to explore Sorrento. Then tomorrow we go to Capri on a boat - boats are GOOD - and then we head back to our beloved Venice to wrap up this Italian adventure!

I have done the bus ride from Sorrento to Amalfi and it made me feel so sick we did the return journey by ferry!
ML reply (because Carbón thankfully held up like the boss he is): I’m with you! This is my third time doing the trip so I knew what was coming, but it was ROUGH. I get carsick very easily, sometimes even when I’m the one driving . There aren’t ferries this time of year, so the bus was it. I’m very proud of myself for giving it a go !

I loved that bus trip! I loved it so much I did it twice!
You’re wonderfully weird then and I envy you so much . That’s the bus ride from hell in my opinion. 😂

Fun fact: those breakwater structures are called dolosse and were invented in my home town of East London SA.
That’s cool! These were shaped like giant jacks, very artsy !

Hola amigos ! ML and I had a good rest day and are feeling better about Sorrento after our first day since we arrived not uncomfortably squashed into some form of public transportation for three hours a day.

We walked down to the old marina and met a very stately older Labrador signora who had a nice sniffy play with me. Then ML chatted with a gentleman standing in front of his house. She (again) accused me of just trying to get into his kitchen , but really I was trying to meet a little terrier signora who just happened to be in his kitchen. De verdad, really: I certainly would have never thought about grabbing his Sunday breakfast on the way to greeting her. Never!

Then we had a photo shoot, claro que sí!
