She’s a beaut. I must have missed something as I thought she was a spaniel/spaniel cross doh! She deffo is so like Reuben and Spencer….gorgeous. She is a lucky girl having such an experienced ‘ML’ (trade mark @Emily_Babbelhund) Does anyone follow sophiefromromania on X Or insta? There is a story of a slow but wonderful journey of patience in the care of an extremely anxious dog.

Rory cellan jones has a new book, about their journey with Sophie. it has been very slow, but from her living behind the sofa to going on walks with harness and lead, has been amazing. Typically there have been folks saying do this do that, you need to crack on etc etc. But with great support from their trainer, they have been very slow and it has worked. So take heart, you are such an experienced dog person. You can get there. This may not be what you expected, but just maybe you are who was meant for her.!

Beautiful photos @Jelinga, of both of them. It sounds like you're making great progress with Flicka. I think with anxious dogs in many ways slow is better so they aren't in danger of overwhelm.

Flicka's Father is a Black Lab and her Mother is a working Springer Spaniel. Her legs seem to be growing at an alarming rate since I have had her!
