Salmon Oil

I use these fish oil capsules. Suitable for all ages, I started using them when we had Scooby, so my two have had them forever.

It's a good online shop that I use often.

I see I have put this on twice, can someone delete one for me please

I liked this when I tried it in the UK

Carbón can’t have salmon oil anymore so I douse him with olive oil. I don’t think it’s as nice and obviously not the same vitamins, but it does keep him from being itchy.

We’ve been using this
Which is a lot cheaper than salmon oil for us (we get it from our local farm supplies shop), and seems to do similar things in terms of omega-3 and antiinflammatories.

Why not just feed whole fish? More health benefits eating the whole food. And fresher, compared with extracted oil that can go rancid quickly.
Unfortunately I do not have access to a fishmonger and also feel reluctant to feed raw fish as to how much to feed! However, I agree with you, it would be fresher, never thought if the oil going rancid quickly 😊

One raw sardine per day
This is interesting - do sardines have the same benefit as salmon oil then?
For all Cass is extremely fit and well for 8 and a half she is definitely showing signs of stiffness and I need to be giving her some sort of supplement now.

Our local fishmonger does have raw sardines from time to time, I get them for her occasionally. But interesting she seems to find them quite puzzling to eat - often pushing them round and round in her dish as if she other doesn't really fancy it ( really ?) or she can't quite grasp it
