Recommendations please for the best salmon oil for yourg dog. I do have Fish for Dogs one left over from Rourke but wondered if there were other good ones?
Thanks @edzbird, that one looks good.I use these fish oil capsules. Suitable for all ages, I started using them when we had Scooby, so my two have had them forever.
It's a good online shop that I use often.

Unfortunately I do not have access to a fishmonger and also feel reluctant to feed raw fish as to how much to feed! However, I agree with you, it would be fresher, never thought if the oil going rancid quicklyWhy not just feed whole fish? More health benefits eating the whole food. And fresher, compared with extracted oil that can go rancid quickly.
This is interesting - do sardines have the same benefit as salmon oil then? One raw sardine per day
That's the beauty of capsules. It's exposure to air that causes oil to turn rancid.never thought if the oil going rancid quickly![]()
Would tinned sardines be good compared to raw?One raw sardine per day. About 20-50gm I think. I feed Snowie one or two a day, depending on size. I buy them frozen.
