How is darling Hugo
@Kelsey
It was a rough evening, I was not able to get the cone on him by myself, he was so scared

I was able to feed him treats through the opening but I only have two hands so I was struggling to streamline treats while getting the cone on without hitting the stitches, I was in tears

so back we went to the vet to have them put it on. Unfortunately the cone is very needed due to where the excision is so sadly he doesn’t have a choice.
Once we got back home (5 hours after I initially picked him up) I fed him his dinner and then he was very tired. But he was refusing to lay down with the cone on, he actually fell asleep standing up and tipped over at one point! I managed to finally coax him to lay down and out he went. My poor boy

so sad seeing him so out of sorts and uncomfortable. This morning he is still fighting the cone and quite irritated but he’s just now curled up on my lap for a snooze. I unfortunately have to go to work today for 5
hours and I’m nervous but I’m hoping he just sleeps and doesn’t do what Axel did…. And eat his cone
