Hola amigos, we arrived today in Zadar. It was supposed o be a 4 hour drive, but was six due to road works. I do not mind as I just snoooooooze.

Our leeeetle apartment is tiny but has everything we need. No pool like the last place, but a guapo view of the water.

Also the owner has a dog and we played when we arrived. Claro, I was not REALLY interested in playing, so instead I ran away and into the kitchen of the lady who lives on the ground floor. It was a leeetle embarrassing as she screamed and ML started apologizing, and then jumped on me and dragged me away. Pfft! The indignity!

Plus I did not even get to check the countertops for food before ML got to me. Que lastima!

Today we went to the big(ish) city of Zadar and meet ML’s Croatian teacher. Ojala! Plus old town Zadar reminded me un poco of Cádiz in my Spanish homeland. Que divertido, no?

Here I am with Tomislav, our teacher. In the end, ML did not learn much Croatian, but Tomislav has helped us mucho with trip planning and better understanding Croatian culture.

And as an added bonus, ML and I remembered where the car was parked and therefore made it back to our seaside nest. Last night here, tomorrow is Šibenik. You have never heard of Šibenik? Me neither - just go with it!

Our last sunset walk on our beach south of Zadar.
