Carbón had a windy run with his friend Pedro. We met Pedro and his human last year and we now have a standing every Wednesday pup party. Pedro’s party trick? He can pick up and carry four balls at once! And when he feels like it, he gathers everyone’s balls and then goes to lay in the sea to keep them away from everyone. Clever naughty boy!

Nah, he’s a smart boy for sure. Very similar to Carbón in personality. I like seeing Carbón trying to keep up - he doesn’t move too fast anymore so it’s fun when he does.

A couple of weeks ago we walked up Mount Vesuvius in Southern Italy. Unfortunately it was a bit misty the higher we got so the views are disappointing……but the achievement wasn’t

Whew! I’m smiling today because I’ve finally finished the big pieces of my post-Cornwall summer travel planning. What a weight off my mind.
My landlords/neighbors were kind enough to extend my booking in Cornwall until mid-July, but that also means actually leaving the UK in high summer season, which I’ve never done.
To avoid that drive around London to the Tunnel which is challenging on a good day, I’ve decided that Carbón and I will be sailing out of Plymouth (which is only 1,5 hours away) to Brittany instead, and spending a few days there before dropping the TARDIS (my car) in Germany and flying to the US.
I’m sure Carbón will regale you with tales of our overnight ‘cruise’ to Roscoff. Adventure!

We spent a week in Naples exploring this fascinating city but we also went to Pompeii, Vesuvius, Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. F was in his element taking photos including early morning photos in the Centro Historico which turned out well. There will be more videos to come but here are a few photos. First one was taken in the Duomo di Santa Maria Assunta in Naples

My first great granddaughter was born via C Section on 25th March , we are thrilled and so good to have something to smile about in sad times . I love this photo of Debbie , her first grandbaby , welcome baby Aurora Isobel xx
