We had the best weekend celebrating the wedding of my middle son- first wedding in our family! What a great day, full of love, family, friends, and laughs.

I loved seeing the bride coming down the aisle, just radiating joy as she looked at my son. It was so lovely! She is a beautiful young lady, inside and out, and we are so happy to have her in the family!

I was working away when I heard a clunk and a shuffle. I popped my head around the corner to see Ella standing next to a stick that most definitely lept out of the grey tub where the firewood was sitting and had definitely not been stolen by Ella

Well it could have done I had a picture which flew off the side in the bathroom, not hitting the ornament in front of it, no wind!!!

Coming back along the lane from our morning walk today I heard a woman on the canal towpath (which runs alongside but above the lane) say ( presumably to her dog) 'Yes! Good girl!' Joy obviously heard it too, because she immediately sat and stared up at me, as if expecting a treat. Her eyesight may have gone but there's nothing wrong with her hearing and she obviously thinks that whenever someone says 'Good girl' they must mean her! It made me chuckle.(and she got a treat of course!)
