Hydrotherapy for Cassie

What a great idea (bribe)! There was no liver paste when Amber had similar hydrotherapy years ago after her cruciate ligament op, but it really helped her. I hope Cassie soon feels the benefit too.
Thanks @Granca, she did look down at her feet going backwards when Alice started the treadmill - why am so far from the liver paste now? Oh, OK, just keep walking :cwl:

Solstice also had hydrotherapy following cruciate ligament surgery. She seemed to enjoy it once she'd got over the fact that she wasn't supposed to swim!
Treats played a large part in it, of course.

Snowie had hydrotherapy when he slipped a disc, and he got sooooo strong. Muscles of steel in his back legs. I would’ve continued it had it been closer to home. But unfortunately it was too far to be sustainable.

He was streamed treats by the assistant, and whew the barking if they weren’t given fast enough. I think we all went deaf! I do like the licky mat; it’s at a better height than having to constantly look up for treats.

After her hydrotherapy therapy session Friday before last , Cass seemed really wobbly on her backend, more than I have seen her before. So I was a little worried, other factors may have come into play of course, but I think she had worked pretty hard on that treadmill!
Anyway, by Thursday she was right as rain and seemed more jaunty than she has been in a while on our lead walks.
This morning we have been for a lovely walk in some newly discovered woods nearby, with my son and Winnie. Cass was very happy and active all the time. Today's weather - sunny and breezy- has always suited her and made her lively, but I am allowing myself to think that the hydrotherapy is beginning to help 👍
