We seem to be blessed with a good sense of humour, I think, which helps. It's all too easily to interpret written text with a different emphasis, and I do think on here we don't take offence when none was meant, or read too much into a meaning which wasn't really there in the first place. Being able to agree to disagree with good grace is a an underrated virtue

And I'm still feeling happy after my weekend in the West Country, being able to take Cassie to mix with other like minded Labrador owners is such a great thing. Like the SW pack walks

My little wildchild made me smile and laugh out loud this morning, walking through the spring woodland and all the birds busy singing. One of them, a chaffinch I think, called out 3 pips, Cassie was a few yards ahead, busy on, but she spun right round on her backfeet and charged right back to me! She must have thought it was the recall whistle, but she did look slightly uncertain --- like was that you? or was it not? I didn't have my whistle in my mouth.
I couldn't help but laugh, she got her reward anyway and a big cuddly fuss

MLF makes me smile --- after a brief look at TLF today, I know how lucky I am to have my Labrador friends, truly!
And yes, well, wine and gin may be involved for those of us who are partial, but if not, who cares?

We had THE best morning on the beach. Maxx was so good and I just posted a video of him recalling from other dogs on our FB page. It's April and the three of us went for a swim and the water was warm and so is the outside temperature
