We were sitting in our garden in our hometown. Our neighbors were having a birthday party. At dinner time I saw Finn trying to look through a wooden fence. His nose was working full force. He didn’t know that I was looking at him. I asked him if he liked the smell and called his name. He jumped up as if I caught him doing something he shouldn’t. This made me laugh so hard!

I forgot to tell you the experience my DH had this morning.....He walked Finn this morning. As we were late (we slept in) he thought that he could unleash Finn as there were no other dogs or traffic. So he did. As soon as he came at a artificial little ‘hill’ Finn took off and started to bark very loud. So my husband thought that there was another dog or cat and he rushed to get Finn...As he came to Finn he saw why Finn barked...There was an old fragile lady with her underpants on her heels in the bushes. Her husband was holding her bike, and Finn barking for this is not allowed and strange to him....The old lady felt trapped....

This morning I took Reubs to the Vet for a strong wormer following rabbitgate . I went to pay, to be told that the card machine was out of order , because one of the Vets dogs had chewed through the cable , guess what breed it is

We've found a new dog walker for Quinn! We had a meet and greet that lasted over an hour and I feel good about the change. Quinn will sometimes walk with another chill dog (possibly another lab) once she settles in with the new walker. I will be able to see her walks on social media now too.

I know I have mentioned this before but it happened again this morning - I was downstairs first. Red went looking for DH who was still upstairs. She went to the bottom of the stairs listening for him. She could hear him moving around. Her body was full on body wagging and her head was cocked in that adorable way Labradors do. She then decided the need to 
in the garden was more important, rushed out but then went mental when she got back inside and he was there. I couldn’t stop smiling

Great way to start the dayChewie's excited bouncing when I got his harness out this morning (I was going to walk him to daycare) was so damn cute. He bounces around like a rubber ball, and sometimes does a 360 on the spot.
It is super cute and definitely made me smile, but makes it impossible to get a harness on. I usually just chuck some kibble down and once he is calmly snuffling on the floor he lets me put the harness on calmly. Is there a better way?
