What made you smile today?

Sounds like a good tactic, @MrChew. My lot all have to sit calmly (without a verbal cue) to have their collars put on, but Squidge sometimes finds this difficult because SOEXCITING! With her, it helps if she has something in her mouth, so I send her to find a toy. That usually helps soothe her enough that she can engage her brain and sit for her collar. But the food scatter will be calming, too, so if it works, carry on :)

forgot to tell you the experience my DH had this morning.....He walked Finn this morning. As we were late (we slept in) he thought that he could unleash Finn as there were no other dogs or traffic. So he did. As soon as he came at a artificial little ‘hill’ Finn took off and started to bark very loud. So my husband thought that there was another dog or cat and he rushed to get Finn...As he came to Finn he saw why Finn barked...There was an old fragile lady with her underpants on her heels in the bushes. Her husband was holding her bike, and Finn barking for this is not allowed and strange to him....The old lady felt trapped....
I couldn’t stop laughing when my husband told this story!!
Laugh of the day :cwl:
