Talia is booked into the vets on Monday morning, and the vet has cleared her schedule so if surgery is necessary, it can be done immediately rather than putting her through the extra trauma of taking her back at a later date. I’m so nervous, I know there is a real chance she won’t come back 😞...

There's no choice, I have to be. She won't go near J or anyone else, won't take food from anyone but me. If she retreated to her den and J sat next to it and gave her prime steak, she wouldn't touch it. And now won't take hidden pills in her bowl...

It's still as it was. I was hoping to get her on the leash and out of the kennel before taking her to the vet, but that's clearly not going to happen. So I'll discuss tomorrow with the vet about what meds we can use to get her there with as little distress as possible - followed by a big wallop...

Thanks @Jelinga I'll look into that if we don't have any success with regular decent diet. The shelter environment and crap food is what causes the diarrhoea in most of these dogs, so I hope that the ProMax and some decent food will make a difference to her.
