I hope you don’t mind, Leanne, but I made them full sized images. They’re too good to stay little! Your daughter is very talented and has made the right call. Pursuing her art will bring much more happiness and contentment.
Is there any chance you just haven’t noticed it before? In the pic of him in your avatar it does look like his lower jaw is a bit longer than the upper one.
Yeah.....Maxx will need to rely on his own legs....
I worked out I could carry Obi when I got locked in a multi-story car park stairwell with open metal steps that Obi was no way no how going anywhere near under his own steam.... The only way was up 😁
I’m also reminded that Obi has also been hesitant with steps that have gaps, like timber steps, and getting him to walk slowly at heel down or up them (actually up is worse) has worked at times - depends on the scariness of the steps though. We have had to carry him many times. He’s quite happy...
Obi developed a similar issue that started out with a floating timber wharf moving when a boat went past and extended to bridges of all kinds and then timber decks. He‘s ok with foot bridges now after we spent a bit of time encouraging him (with food) over the smallest/shortest/lowest concrete...
I really like the knobby bit at the top right. It does draw the eye, but then you travel back down the tree. Also it makes it look like the tree is striving upwards. Be interesting to compare the two options side by side though.
