    Encountering other dogs

No, he doesn't. Perhaps because all dogs are littermates? I will certainly ask the trainer

    Encountering other dogs

It's not a play invitation as he is totally flat, not in a bow position. Can't get contact with him then, he refuse the distraction as calling, giving him a treat. The problem is also that he has a very good nose, So he smells other dogs before I am able to see them....It's also not with all...

    Encountering other dogs

When I walk Odin and he sees a other dog aproaching him he freezes and lay down. I can't move him into another direction. He will jump up when the other dog is real close. What should I do to give him more confidence (I read that this behaviour is due to lack of confidence/anxious/frightened)...

    Lambies for Red please

I'm so sorry to read about the teeth/gum trouble of Red! It is a worry when they have to undergo anaesthetic procedure. I know Finn had to undergo this as well about 2 years ago! Also for a tooth and at the same time the vet extracted 2 front teeth while they were loose. It made us realise that...

    It's a boy!! (Welcome ODIN)

Yes, I like gundog training very much! Also to see that Odin likes it soooo much! He is too eager and I have to calm him down, otherwise he is getting the dummy out of the water before the other dog whose turn it is to retrieve.... I like to do obedience for the normal things in life....So...

    Mr Stanley Blue

Odin is doing well! He is at times a real boy in puberty....he leaves his ears several times at home, do what he wants to do and won't listen. His recall is very good though, although last week with my OH not....He saw some ducks and was off leash. He went for them and swam out of side. Left my...
