We were promised sun and it is cold and cloudy here!

She is very small, only 13kg, though she eats the same amount Rourke did and he was 30kg. She looks like a Lab apart from her tail which curls, she behaves like a spaniel but has the appetite of a Lab which includes eating unpleasant things which she finds in the fields.

@MellowYellow, the vet told me that it was important that they still exercised to ease the joints. Rourke was finally on Ketamine, Librella, gabapentin and paracetamol. I think he could have gone on longer, but the ulcerated hock joint would not heal :( . I wish for the best for dear Poppy.

I just cannot remember Rourke, I will try taking him for a walk with me and Flicka. I suppose it is nature's way to erase them from your memory until you can cope with the loss.

How lovely to have a direct comparison, Hugo has certainly grown up in looks, but I bet he is still a puppy in behaviour :D
