I am convinced that our dogs feel our stress and worries , Reuben was the same when I first had the bypass and was absent for a few days and then a few weeks ago when I was in hospital for ten days, he was unsettled and upset . They all display this is different ways, Maxx is obviously missing...

Yes and thanks from me too @Cath , Reuben is insured ( thank goodness after the last bill ) but Nelly isnt because she has so many issues but I will do the Dogs Trust cover for her xx

Poor love , he does sound miserable x Reuben was given paracetamol after his recent surgery and when he hurt his tail as he cannot tolerate NSAID`s . The dose was one or two twice a day ( 500 mg tabs ) , he weighs 37 kilos but I only ever gave one at a time . Hoping he feels better soon x

Take a look at Saunton Beach Villas , north Devon and literally by the beach , all chalets have enclosed gardens and its very dog friendly so not many spaces left . It is expensive but then so is everywhere in the UK right now, but it looks like dog heaven :nod:

I think as long as it is a rural location , Reubs would be fine without a completely enclosed garden but with Nelly being deaf , it would be a constant worry . We always used to take Sams duvet bed , he would settle on it in the car and then use it when we arrived at our destination . Dogs are...
