I didn’t end up taking Stanley because I got held up at work, so OH took him. He didnt ask about it and just got his usual tablet. I’m not opposed to the idea of it. But would want to know the brand etc to do some research before and decide.

Has anyone heard of this? My vet have said they’ve started doing an injection of flea and tick treatment that lasts 12 months. We’re going for his vaccinations on Friday and was going to ask about it.

How stressful! Poor Maxx - and you! What I always find with dogs (and kids) is that they go downhill so quickly but then their recovery is nothing short of a miracle turnaround. Fingers crossed he’s home soon xx

Stanley only gets kibble and he gets the same flavour every time. He gets human food sometimes - if we have a Sunday dinner for example he always gets one. It keeps his tummy right and considering he’s badgering me for it an hour before he gets it I think he’s pretty happy with it 😆

They are expensive! Especially for Stanley needing more due to his weight.

No I don’t think so. He’s fine if it’s just them checking him over, he gets a bit stressed but will let them. It’s when they start having to actually do anything that he hates it which is luckily rare.

I think we’re going to try Yumove first and go from there x

We have to take 2 the night before then they gave us a morning appointment so 2 again on the morning. Maybe they were anticipating trouble with the double dose.. 😬

Fingers crossed. The vet may have underestimated Stanley mind. He said they have a really good success with these relaxants and I was thinking you haven’t met an uncooperative Stanley Mayos yet but we’ll see

His dog walker said he was running around a lot more today and swam a fair bit too. So maybe we’ve found the cause..
