Out of the blue it started snowing when I took Harley out late morning. It’s still snowing now and has started to settle. Harley loved having zoomies and had to be showered as the fields were so muddy :rofl:

Have you got any hibiscrub or leucillin? I find these help keep the area clean and reduce inflammaction.

I use tumeric (golden paste) twice a day on Harleys food. She has about 1 teaspoon each meal. It’s really helped with her limping and some friends have said how it’s helped their dogs allergies. I but mine from Amazon.

I think things like this do make us look more, and we pick up on the tiniest thing. Glad she’s had a long walk and seems ok.

Harley is the same. I spent several weeks getting the clippers closer and closer and managed to get 1 nail clipped, we then had to start from scratch. Her nails are ok on most of the paws except the front left which is probably to do with her arthritis in that paw. I’ve tried sandpaper and an...

Glad the vet got the thorn out. Hope Red is ok. Harley limped on and off for a few days after, but by day 3 she was 100% back to normal.

Poor girl. Harley had a huge thorn stuck in her paw a few mo this ago. We tried to get it with no luck. It took the vet about 15 mins as it was so far in, but he got it out and Harley immediately gave him a lick (she doesn’t usually like 5his vet!)

Poor girl. It does take them a while to get over things like this, but time and patience (which I know you have in abundance) will help. Also arranging some short walks with other dogs she knows would help x

@Candy I believe they do dream and have nightmares. Harley squeaks and makes funny noises and jerks when asleep and it Usually coincides wit’s the days my dog Walker has said a strange dog ran up, or Harley was unsure about a dog nearby or when she’s gone into defence mode. I always smooth her...
