    Arthritis?

I am going to make this! I already got the ingredients in the house! I don’t want to give him too much off the puurdolor as it contains alcohol, so a lesser dose as prescribed and not too long…

    Arthritis?

I have given him carprofen for 4 days and he reacted well on this. As I don’t want him to get NSAID too often or the rest of his life I asked a e-vet what was wise to give him. He or she told me to give Puurdolor. I bought it and he does well on it. You see that he still has some trouble...

    Induction Hob ?

I have induction since December last year, but Finn is fine with it. No reaction when I put it on. But I think it very likely that Maisy reacts on that for it gives a special tone and resonance

    Arthritis?

We go every 2 month to the vet to get his nails trimmed. They are very long, hard and deformed. The quick (?) is also almost to the end of his nail. He has this from birth. At the vets they also have difficulty to get them trimmed. I agree they should be shorter, our other labs we had before...

    Arthritis?

My sister came along and brought some carprofen. Lets see how he reacts with a painkiller/anti inflammatory….Finn has arthritis in his left shoulder. In April he went under sedation for teeth cleaning and came out with pain and a limp. He probably moved wrongly so his shoulder arthritis played...

    Arthritis?

Finn is having trouble walking on uneven paths. We couldn't find a reason why he didn't want to. Until now...I think he has arthritis in his right foot. There are some swollen bones to see which he hasn't in his left foot. When he walks upon an uneven path I think it hurts and is painful. What...

    Merlin under the weather

I’m so sorry Merlin is feeling so horrible! I hope things will clear up soon and that you don’t have to visit the vet so often! Poor boy must be feeling so bad! We had this once with Euan a few years ago. He didn’t have a bug in his gut but he had an ileus, and had to be operated on

    Homer being sick

When reading this back I think I need to explain it more….Finn was sick, he vomited and he wanted to go outside all day to eat grass. Even the tiniest grass between the stones he ate. His belly was rumbling. He didn’t want to eat his vomit, something he does when being sick. So he felt lousy…At...

    Homer being sick

Finn had this 3 weeks ago. Lasted a couple of days and then normal again. I gave him low fat yoghurt at lunchtime and that helped. The thought behind this is that I thought he had some problems with gastric acid. It helped Finn…

Food & supplement recommendations for 16 year old collie cross please 🐶

I would say if she is doing relative well on James well beloved grain free I would stick to that. Too much changes will give her more belly problems.
