Vets have just rung , he has come through the surgery well , he has a bandage on the second lump on his hock as it bled and they will put his onsie on shortly . We can bring him home about 3.30 and Sue will let me know about margins at that time . Poor love , its going to be a long recovery ...

One of the other Vets has just rung me to say that now Reuben is under GA on the table , Sue has found another lump on his right leg, on the hock and asked for permission to remove this one as well . Oh my poor poor boy x

We dropped Reuben off at the Vets this morning for his surgery , I feel quite sick to know what he is going to have to go through, again xx

We had torrential rain yesterday , lots of swollen rivers and flooded roads . I did take the dogs to Golitha ,but Nelly had to stay on lead , Reuben was happy to retrieve in the woods away from the river . Thankfully today is much better with some welcome sunshine , Reuben has gone to playgroup...

I feed ours on Skinners field and trial , depending on whats on offer we fluctuate between chicken and rice , salmon and rice and duck and rice . I do cook a mix of fish and veggies to add to the kibble xx

Surgery is booked for next Tuesday , 22nd . I could have taken him to one of their other surgeries tomorrow but prefer to wait for Sue . Now to try and find a body suit with legs as his last one was legless which is what I could do with being right now xxxx Thank you for your best wishes and...

I could weep , well I am weeping . My poor boy , it was as I suspected , another Mast Cell Tumour . We will be booking him in for surgery very soon , oh its just not fair , I know that sounds childish but its how I feel . bless Reuben xxx
