Sounds like a good plan. Hattie was attacked by the same Flat Coat twice then it attacked Charlie. I reported the owner to the Dog Warden. Even so Hattie recovered 100% so I'm sure Joy will too as they are both very gentle souls. xx

@Sophiedoodle Labradoodles NEVER grow up. Hattie is 13 1/2 years old and still behaves like a right nutter! :ROFLMAO: I'm sure she has found the fountain of youth!! xx

Approaching gently is the way, being around kind dogs helps, letting her go at her own pace too. When Hattie was attacked I arranged lots of dog walks with my friends with gorgeous kind dogs. I know that's not possible now but a phone call to friends to be in a field when you are is okay. All...

It really is awful @Candy To watch an otherwise very fit dog so restricted for so long goes against every fibre of my being. Even harder as he's been such a good boy xxx

It really has been a long ordeal for him, my heart breaks for him having no off lead for so many months and still more to go as he is such an active boy. He has been a complete star throughout his ordeal. The dozen or so vet visits where we couldn't go in with him, lots of GA needles, x-rays...

Infection from a dogs teeth is the issue, hope the ABs sort it. Get well soon. xx
