    New collar and lead

In my experience the leather ones also wash pretty well, just need to ensure they are occasionally "dubbined".

    New collar and lead

I do like a leather collar myself, with a buckle. Unless he has siblings or dogs he plays with frequently, then a quick release fastening is important. Lilly usually suited a narrower collar, but she had a shorter neck than some (like me). I love Scrufts Collars but you need at least 2 since...

Poo - how much is too much?!

I think puppies do poop more than older dogs. I think as long as they are formed they are fine. Sometimes a lot of poo can indicate overfeeding but a better gauge is the sheet/blanket/duvet appearance (Im sure you are familiar with this?) The Millies Wolfheart is a pretty sound dog food. My...

    Sully ❤️

Too early to tell with Sully, but when we were training with Lilly, its stubbornness. The GRs would just lay down and not move if they couldn't be bothered. i guess thats why they do lab/GR mixes for guide dogs. Intelligence but stubborn, will not easily be urged on if there is danger, unlike a...

The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

I think they are for cutting herbs up finely. Not 100% sure but pretty sure i have seen scissors like that before.

    Sully ❤️

Not whilst I had been there, however I had the discussion with Scott and Eilidh that if he DID ask us to do the smoked sausage trick on my watch, I would tell the trainer exactly that. And the reason why I didn't sit Sully 6ft behind me when chucking the tennis ball. 3ft to my side was more...

    Sully ❤️

Looking back on these photos I can't believe how Sully has grown up already! He is now about 19kg at 20 weeks and quite slim, but you can tell he's going to be a big boy. And because he IS big we know how important it is for good training, and @HAH 's post about poor Stilton made me pop up an...
