    That’s not my name!

Oh and I've jusy checked and our dear old BJ would have been Master Droolington - 100% accurate

    That’s not my name!

Well, we've just got Saint Wigglebottom :cwl:

    Cassie/Reeva interaction

Sounds as if everything is working OK @Selina27 with the intervention you see as necessary. Sounds as if the pup is happy and Cassie is happy

Training with a professional field trialler

That is encouraging. Whatever we achieve or don't achieve though, I'll stick with it so long as Molly is enjoying it. That was the original purpose, to give her some 'brian' work and she certainly took to it.

Training with a professional field trialler

Thanks for all that information @Peartree . This is all way beyond anything we've got to so I'm well out of my depth! I do though wish I'd started gun dog training with Molly earlier, even though she is very enthusiastic. She was just 3 when we started - I wonder how much better it would have...

    Reeva is here !

She's gorgeous, I do love spaniels. I miss not having a spaniel in the family, we had one sort or another for over 20 years.

    Oooh, just adorable :inlove:

Training with a professional field trialler

That sounds like a really good session. Presumably you've done trailling before? The directional blinds is surely a tricky concept in the early days? We've been doing gun dog training, unfortunately halted when we went into lockdown but were still at the early stages. We'd just got to the 'go...

    Echo - Guide Dog

That is a cracking photo. Echo is lovely but I just adore that gorgeous patient 'get on with it and put up with it all' expression on Tatze's beautiful face :inlove: x

    What made you smile today?

I'm so sorry to read about the knee event @SwampDonkey and the subsequent trials of having to ask someone else to do things for you. I sympathise and completely understand your alternative thought for crutch use :cheeky:

    What made you smile today?

That is a lovely gesture from your daughter @Selina27 , lovely flowers. To those like us (daft dog women) it isn't a big effort to have a pup in the house but you'd be surprised how many mothers of grown up children would refuse :shake:

I have something to tell you !

Good luck all round. Great Abi is involved

    Meg Food

I don't know why that face with dark glasses is appearing in my post, I enter JWB in brackets and that's what comes up

    Meg Food

Our previous lab BJ, who was epileptic coped on tinned Chappie with a small amount if kibble (JWB) Anything else and he would have vomiting bouts as well. He suffered awful digestive problems because of his epilepsy meds and this food was the only thing he could digest. Good luck with getting...

    Reeva is here !

Another good night @Selina27 or a couple of bleary eyes this morning?

    Reeva is here !

Aww, so sweet. Anything spaniel is bound to have a tough, playful and persistent nature. Good luck Cassie, Molly's jealous, she would adore a puppy to play with

    Puppy coming next week

How exciting and lovely for your daughter. As others have said, little Reeva will be a blast of bursting energy and enthusiasm from day 1. Our spaniel Max, like @Jelinga 's first dog didn't stop until the day before he died at 13.5 and then only because his hind legs gave up working. I'll...
