    What made you smile today?

In the woods today we met a family with a tiny puppy. It was so funny seeing it trying to go nose-to-nose with Holly as it had to really stretch its neck. When it came to butt-sniffing the poor thing didn't have a chance.

    HOW MANY?????

That's a very ambitious plan. Go for it. I think you’ll need a big bag of hair to cover all those places.

    HOW MANY?????

We had a very good trip to Rome earlier in the year but there are still plenty of places left in the city that would benefit from some Lab hair. The Vatican Museum, Pantheon, several museums and the Forum were generously supplied with Holly hair. We were starting to run out by the end of the...

    HOW MANY?????

The world needs more Labby friendliness. Holly hairs have circled the globe. Not only through Ruth and me, but by secreting hairs onto the clothes and luggage of people at international conferences. With a bit of effort and sneakiness you could circle the globe with hairs!

    Holly's done it again!

We finally got a poop this morning :poo: Now we can start to get her back onto normal food. She should be back to normal by the weekend for the SW pack walk.

    Holly's done it again!

She had a good night last night. Today she's been having a quiet day with a gentle walk. Hopefully the small meals of rice and chicken will sort her out.

    Holly's done it again!

Thanks, Kate. She's a terrible scavenger. I let her off her lead yesterday and she ran off to guzzle some horse poo. We reckon that was the trigger this time.

    Holly's done it again!

She's been eating things again and has been up all night with diarrhoea, and brought up her breakfast this morning. We've been to the vets, and have started the familiar routine of starving her for the day, keep up fluids, give her the gut medication and feed her on rice and chicken from...

    Dogs in cars

Holly has the tailgate all to herself. It has a plastic lining and we put an absorbent dog liner on top for the muddy water. It also has a dog guard. I let her jump in but we've never allowed her to jump out.

    What made you smile today?

We met @Woodwoman today for a walk. Weve missed our weekly walk and natter for three weeks because of holidays and other interruptions. Holly and Pip walked straight up to each other, wagged and had a friendly sniff. It’s heart warming to see how far Pip has come since we started walking...

    Goonlaze Cottage, St Agnes, Cornwall

We've just had a week in this cottage so we thought that a write-up would be helpful. Location: The cottage is located at the edge of St Agnes with two pubs, a Chinese restaurant (& takeaway), and two cafes clustered around a mini roundabout within a two minute walk. The center of St Agnes is...

    Otter's Journey....

Not entirely true. I spent this morning picking blackberries for Holly and Pip!

    First blackberries.

This is extremely healthy. Trust me.
