    Mantrailing!

It’s a shame I live in another country! Finn loves mantrailing and was quite good at it. We stopped as we didn’t see a progress in the course which we followed. There was no challenge anymore…. Here a photo of Finn during mantrailing as he always wanted to cool off in a muddy pool….

    Slightly Concerned about Poppy

Yes, similar experience here. All of our dogs who went to a kennel had lost their voice/bark. A lot of barking going on here too. It’s not easy to find, but have you considered looking for an address that will take poppy privately? There where she can stay with just a few dogs in a home...

My brother is going to get a puppy!

Our first lab Doerak had the same age when this also happened to her. She perked up after the drip. She had eaten cat poo then, many many years ago... :thelambiesarecoming::thelambiesarecoming:

The Labraventures of Carbón, Spanish (ex-) foster dog extraordinaire

Love and best wishes for your father!! He probably wasn’t too alert himself to give you a call….So don’t be too harsh on him! I used to work on a cardiology intensive care and I know that older people can be confused of all this happening….

    Lump - Histiocytoma

That must have been a worrying time for you! Lumps are always so nasty to see. When they age several will come up and most are warts or fatty lumps. Our first lab did have quite some of them, horrible to see but harmless. But she lived long until she was over 14 years. Glad that Obis lump is...

    Lead Aggression

I have the same with 2 Australian Sheppard dogs. The owner can’t get hold of them both. The start barking and lunging as soon as they see Finn. And Finn react immediately. They walk passed our house, so nothing to avoid. The owner tends to sit opposite our house to feed his dogs by hand...

    Lead Aggression

Finn always have had this on lead. I trained him with LAT….Perhaps you could try this? Also the u turn, not only when we we encounter another dog, but also when walking without seeing another dog. Finn is so smart, and I think your Poppy is as well. So when at first I did the LAT it was...

How to react when dogs attack

Are they allowed to walk off leash? If so, there is an unspoken courtesy that when you encounter a dog on leash you put the dogs on leash straight away. You never know why a dog is on leash….. I know there are a lot of people with dogs who should not have a dog….That doesn’t answer your...
