Has anyone heard of this? My vet have said they’ve started doing an injection of flea and tick treatment that lasts 12 months. We’re going for his vaccinations on Friday and was going to ask about it.

Stanley has this on his face.. At first I thought it was a tick but when I poke it white pus is coming out of it and I don’t think a tick would do that, would it? Any ideas?

How much is your dogs insurance. Stanley’s was £25 a month 4 years ago and it’s gone up to £43 now. I feel like that’s a big jump in 4 years considering we’ve never claimed.

So we’re having a bit of bother with Stanley’s anal glands. The vet recommended changing him to a low fibre food to get his poo’s really firm. He’s on Canagan at the minute which has a 3.5% fibre content. Would that not be classed as low? Can anyone recommend a food for this sort of thing?

Does anyone else’s lab have a really prominent occipital bone? Stanley’s seems to be really prominent - I’m not sure if it always was or if I’ve just noticed it. I’ll try and get a pic of it but he’s hiding from me because I’ve been poking at his head :facepalm:

Stanley keeps leaving anal gland liquid ( :puke: ) on the couch - luckily I have throws! They don’t seem to be bothering him - he isnt itching or rubbing his bum along the floor. There’s no smell coming from him. His poo’s are firm. Is he just disgusting or is this a vet visit issue?

So this is just me trying to justify myself being a big softie but the biggest advice the midwives and health visitors are pushing at the minute is that you cannot love your baby too much. So if they’re crying - go to them, do not leave them to cry (I say laid here with a baby on my chest)...

Stanley’s rolled in shit. Has anyone used this before? Does it work? I can buy it from our local pet shop, nowhere has cowboy magic unfortunately and I can’t deal with the smell. I’ve washed him twice and he still honks!
