Spag Bol is something I’ve massively gone off since I’ve been pregnant.

It was a staple mid week tea in our house but now I feel a bit sick whenever I cook it and can never face eating it.

I use the exact same recipe for lasagne though, and I can still eat that 🤷🏻‍♀️🙈
The same thing happened to me with with sparkling mineral water!

the questions is do you cook it on low heat for hours to get a nice, juicy and flavorsome sauce? Do you Saute the onions for a good 10min, then add garlic for another few minutes then add mince etc.?

I put baked beans in my spag Bol!
Nooooo!! They used to try and feed me baked beans in girl guides until I threw up on the leaders shoes one time too many

My Spag Bol has mice (either beef or turkey), mushrooms, capsicum, onions, plenty of chilli, olives (I don't like them but if I don't use too many it just adds a depth of flavor without it being oliv-y), Worcester, soy, tomato sauce, spicy bbq sauce and loads of fresh basil.

Well now you can start a trend....
:shake:

Wow I can’t believe the things you guys put in spaghetti sauce! Mine is pretty traditional (or so I thought:)):

Ground beef (is that minced beef?)
Onion
Garlic
Herbs - mainly oregano, but also thyme, basil, etc. Fresh if you can get it!)
Tomato sauce and diced tomatoes (one can each - if you’ve had a bumper crop of tomatoes you can chop them up small and use those)
Green pepper

I will occasionally put grated carrot in as well.

Intriguing all the different recipes. I don't like spag boll but do make it for my family, it's my youngest sons' favourite.

We are are no beef at all in our house so I use lamb mince, onions, garlic, tomatoes, tomato puree, oregano, mushrooms (sometimes) red wine, salt, pepper and I cook it for about 1 1/2 hours. x
