Afraid of mechanical doors

Odin is all of a sudden frightend of our doors in the hallway. As we are living in an appartement we have to go to 2 doors when going out. Odin startled today being frightend of both doors. We have to go through them otherwise he can't pee or poo or going out for a walk. It never was an issue for him but now it is. Tips are welcome to help him to pass the doors.....Finn is not of any help. We tried to let them both go through but no luck, he will lay himself down flat on the floor and won't move....

No words of wisdom from me as I honestly thought that delicious treats could make a Labrador do ANYTHING. Hopefully you can boost Odin’s confidence and it will be a temporary thing. My last puppy (many many years ago) went through multiple objects to be terrified of but with time (not too much time) each fear was forgotten. Hoping for that for you and Odin.

Might it help if one of you went out first, maybe with Finn, and Odin came out with the other and was treated once out?
Not really anything more useful to help I'm afraid.
My SIL's dog Georgie has developed a fear of 2 of their 3 house exit doors.....chair legs....and hence the kitchen.....and she is about 12.
Hopefully this is a (rapidly 🀞) passing phase for Odin x

Maybe play some fun games near The Door with no pressure to go through (obviously at a time other that toilet time), so fun game with treats or toys then back off and do something else or just back off and chill. Gradually get nearer to The Door then involve a game that might pass through it. It's so hard when they develop a fear with seemingly no reason to us, but an obvious reason to them.

How are you managing to get Odin out through the doors currently?

We went a few times through the two doors. First time he was off lead and I had put treats on the floor. He is afraid of the doors and the elevator which he passes when going out. First time I encouraged him with the treats and he eventually passend the elevator and approached the door. I opened the door manually and did the same for the next door.
My grandson came and wanted to walk Odin. And off they went towards the doors without any problem, Odin following my grandson....

We sit and watch. But to go out we have to go through them, otherwise we are stuck in our appartement.....
By doing the sit and watch my oh and I saw that Odin is afraid of a black little bench in the hall. Also the noise the doors are making when opened with the switch on the wall. So we open the first door manually and when we pass the first door Odin runs to the second door. We open that one also by hand. No idea why the bench is So frightening....When we come back we are sitting on the bench and give him a lot of treats when he comes towards us, but that takes time I'm afraid. We will continue this for a while
