Hope you can rest now

I've just caught up with this. Sorry to hear Kate. I hope Reuben bounces back quickly. XxWound check went well , thanks to the Licki mat and liver paste which distracted himHe was reluctant to let Sue take the dressing off his hock but I managed to do it . Sue had to make a few small cuts of his hock to remove the lump so he had stitches , all looks really good and clean , back on Friday for another check and then 1st November all stitches out . I had walked them both at Golitha before the Vets , Reuben was quite disgusted at being kept on lead but it has to be for a week or so xx
I’m hoping as I’m so late catching up that by now Reuban is back to himself and causing trouble because he’s bored of being restricted.
Even though I’ve not had chance to post I’ve been thinking of you. Now the op is over and certainly once the stitches are out Reuban will be back to his happy, lovely, lively self. Your the one that will worry Reuban won’t have a care in the world thanks to you. I know it’s impossible not to worry but having lots of fun and enjoying every day with that big lovely dog of yours, which I know you will, will help slowly push that worry further back I hope. Everything crossed that Reuban heals and recovers quickly and thinking of you all.

Mast Cell cancers used to be graded as stage 1 , 2 or 3 , Reubens always stage 2 . New grading has now altered and has more or less lumped stages 1 and 2 together and named them as lower grade , 3 remaining high grade . Stage 2 is a bit iffy as it can become unpredictable but it is good news that his cancers are not the high grade 3 which can be terminal . xxIt sounds great although I don’t understand what grade 11 and low grade means? But by all accounts it sounds like good news! So pleased for you. xxx
