Tough one. I think I'd say four legs. BUT with two hands and two feet. And elbows & knees. UNLESS I am admiring Coco's muscly forearms....then obviously he only has two legs. He has lovely forearms.

Joy does things with her front paws that she doesn't do with her back paws e.g. holding kongs steady, digging, biffing me if she wants my attention and doesn't happen to have it and if she hasn't seen me for a while, hugging me round the waist whilst standing on her back paws (

Yep that was my logic too, you don't walk on arms, though you can still apply the different joint terms, because a hip is different to a shoulder joint.

Yes, agreed.Four legs and 4 paws
Lilly doesn't seem to use her front paws much, nor her mouth in any kind of fine motor way. Sometimes I guess she will use front paws to hold a kong, but not really on a more human way that I see other dogs doing.
