She’s a bit tender right now, as she had another surgery yesterday. This time the stitches have to stay in for a month
She’s very swollen and sore, poor little munchkin.
But she was excited to come on a walk this evening and was back to spinning for her dinner!

No, they would get ripped to shreds in the undergrowth. It needs to be something that nothing can get stuck in or to.
@Jacqui-S I think I'd worry that the neoprene fabric might be too sweaty if it can't breath and cause infection?

During my diving days I used to wear a sort of tube-like bandana on my head to keep my hair under control under water. I wonder if something like that might work for her. It was thin material, but strong and silky, so not easy for seeds or thorns to stick to.
