Aww, poor babba! That looks quite a procedure, clever vets. Hope she's soon home safe and sound.

) Back for a post-op check tomorrow lunchtime, then seeing the dental vet in a weeks' time. The Xrays are very interesting, you can see clearly the adult teeth so will get some photos and post next week
Otter's lower canine was fractured close to the gumline. The pulp was exposed, allowing a conduit for infection. The problem with damaged puppy teeth, especially canines with their long roots is this sort of damage disrupts the natural development of the underlying tooth bud. In addition, dentine and enamel can also be damaged by dysfunctional development due to infection.Pleased to hear all went well. I must’ve missed the post about why she needed it out via an operation rather then just let it fall out?

I know!!....@Mr Beanwood was mowing the wildflower pathway and up snuck behind him was Otter with a long daisy in her mouth...my bad I should have been watching her!Glad it’s over and has gone well. I’m just trying to imagine the pottering ‘round the garden quietly’!
