Broken puppy tooth

Wow, those xrays are beautiful @Beanwood - or more precisely, Otter’s little mouth is beautiful :) it’s ‘like’ a natural formation (I mean, obviously it is a natural formation!) but similar to stalactites or fungal spores developing. Really fascinating! Glad she’s progressing well, super photo of her and Benson. Those maniac little eyes

What beautiful gnashers! (As our vet always says) The soon to emerge adult teeth really do look huge compared to the puppy ones don't they? So glad she's doing OK, the little sweetheart.

@Beanwood How is Otter after her dental surgery? Recovering well I hope xx
Visit to the dental vet today, and Otter's teeth are doing well. Sometimes, by removing a baby tooth, this can stimulate early eruption, which actually you don't want, especially with canines, the last teeth to erupt. Early eruption can mean the sensitive protective membrane around the adult tooth has been disturbed, which can lead to poor formation of dentine. So far though so good! Follow up in one month, plus weekly photos to the vet :)
