I posted my daughter’s Christmas present on 7th December 1st class (Norfolk to London) , it still hasn’t arrived. I spoke to an extremely disinterested customer 'service' person at Royal Mail last week who had obviously been dealing with hundreds of queries exactly the same as mine. I could feel the shrug down the phone line - might arrive, might not. Suggested I claim as lost, maximum payout £20 for a parcel with value of £70 plus £8 postage. It seems I should have sent it 24 hour tracked if I actually wanted it to arrive in 2022.

Sorry you’ve not had yours yet. There has been postal strikes on and off throughout December and there is a huge backlog. Fingers crossed yours arrives soon. Please do let me know x
It's all perfectly fine, I was just worried it may have arrived when we were in Vanuatu and been lost. I think it was similar last year, so the anticipation just grows stronger!
