Can’t catch a break

Oh dear, sorry to hear another set back. I hope the vet can get to the bottom of this tomorrow. It’s so worrying when they are ill, wish they could just tell us themselves 😞

We ended up bringing Quinn in tonight, as she was gagging and not looking well. In this exam, she yelped when they checked her belly. It’s suspected pancreatitis and we opted to hospitalize her to start treatments of fluids and pain meds while waiting for result of bloods tomorrow morning. We will know more once those results are in and will start with X-ray if bloods don’t come back showing pancreatitis. Poor little Quinn is down to 55 lbs as she hasn’t yet gained back weight from her last go. She’s down 10 lbs from 6 months ago.

Well done Ashley- and you poor things, all of you. Thinking of you, and hoping the morning tests bring quick fixable answers xx

Hope Quinn has a good night even if it is at the Vets. And of course you too, but I know that wont be easy.
Hope results tomorrow will give you an answer that you can then start treating right away without any surgery or more stays i hospital

So sorry. Poor Quinn. She had surgery to her intestines, right? How was the corn cob removed? Would they not suspect a surgery-related issue rather than pancreatitis?

I literally opened my eyes this morning and the first thing I did was check on Quinn, thank goodness you were so on the ball with her.

It’s not even like you haven’t been through this already very recently!!!

Let me know if there is anything I can do, or even if you want to talk etc

Poor Quinn. She’s in the best place, so I hope the vet is able to find the cause as soon as possible. Thinking of you.
