Nelly isn't very well , not poorly but under the weather . Talking of weather, I don't think its the heat as its been much cooler here for the past day or so . She is just a little tired and lethargic , maybe its her now nightly alerts for the hedgehog and she is missing sleep ?

Sorry to hear this and hope it’s nothing - maybe it culminative from the heat we’ve had and hedgehog alerts.

Poor little thing, that's worrying for you; if your weather's anything like our weather t'other side of the Tamar, it's still quite heavy and muggy at times so might yet be that, alongside hedgehog patrol. I wonder sometimes if they're more susceptible to changes in atmospheric pressure than we are. Hope she perks up soon.

Oh poor Nelly. It might well be the hedgehog night watch that's causing the problem. Is she eating/drinking ok?Just keep an eye on her and if doubt a quick vet trip - just to make sure everything is fine. x

Poor Nelly. It could be the hedgehog. When S&S were being terrorised by the monster hedgehog Scout would nod off with his head resting on the table while he was waiting for me to put Scott's lead on for our morning walk. I think interrupted sleep affects them more than we realise. Fingers crossed she's feeling better very soon. xx

Eating and drinking just fine . I took her for a woodland walk, its nice and cool at only 21 degrees today , she scampered around a treat , so I think she has tired herself out having got into a complete frenzy over the hedgehog xx

Not far wrong there Karen , except for the fierce bit ! She would like to consider herself as fierce, but she hasn't got a growl in her repertoire !!!!!!! Fearless , determined , stubborn and yes , a monster at times ! xx

She does get herself into a state at times , over things like hedgehogs , and her latest is to try and catch bees , no garden excursions on her own for a while x
