Oh, that photo above of Carbon running in Ireland makes me really miss Ireland! Off lead beaches! But...that's not why I'm posting here. We were finally able to test for heart worm again just before we left Regensburg and the results are back: Carbon is completely cleared of the nasty things!
I was doubtful of the "gentle treatment" as it took so long (10 months) and there was no guarantee for success. However now that's it's over and successful, I'll happily eat my hat and concede that I appreciate my German vet's cautious approach.
